I’ve perpetually been a terribly serious person. I do not show a lot of emotion and typically realize it onerous to relate to individuals, particularly very little kids. I always thought that I would feel differently regarding my very own children and would be ready to act silly for them and “jettisoning” and be a very little a lot of loose. And I mean really bored! I begin to feel totally brain dead and feel like I am unable to stand it for another minute. Hence, I am forever trying for ways to get away, which makes my son sad. I tell him that “I’ll be right back!” and go check my email or get a drink from the refrigerator.

For the primary 2 years of his life my son wasn’t allowed to watch any tv at all. He would be exposed to it once in an exceedingly whereas at a fan’s house or while in a very store or restaurant, however never at home. Once he turned two and currently that we have a tendency to have another baby in the house, we have a tendency to have allowed him to watch one hour of tv every day, typically throughout the baby’s nap.

He started watching Thomas and Friends, a TV show about talking trains. The main character, Thomas, may be a bright blue engine and there is a full forged of different trains, all with their own personalities. The shows strive to show good morals and values through the adventures of the trains, who forever seem to be getting into hassle of some sort.

I started watching this show with my son and currently I am hooked! It’s great to work out a show like this that may not animated and does not have any violence or explosions. It’s smart, wholesome family entertainment and I suppose it’s really a fairly instructional show. It’s really helped my son develop his speech and we have used a number of the ideas taught on the show such as being kind and respectful of others.

We tend to currently have a massive assortment of Thomas the Tank Engine toy trains and a train table full of track. I will play on this with my son for a long time while not getting bored. I will talk with him regarding all the different trains and build up problems for him to solve whereas having fun.
